Five people sustained injuries in a road accident involving two KSRTC buses and a car on the MC Road at Vamanapuram in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. According to the police, the incident occurred after a KSRTC bus travelling from Karette towards Venjaramoodu had stopped at the Vamanapuram hospital junction for passengers to alight. Another KSRTC bus travelling in the same direction crashed into the rear of the stationary bus, following which a car which trailed behind rammed into the second bus.
