Five arrested for stealing construction material from Nallagandla site

Chandanagar police have arrested five individuals for a series of construction material thefts in Nallagandla. Authorities recovered stolen goods and cash, while continuing to search for additional suspects involved in the racket.

Chandanagar police arrested five persons for allegedly stealing aluminium construction boards and other material from a construction site at Nallagandla in Serilingampally.
The theft occurred between midnight and 1.30 a.m. on August 20 at the premises of Vertex Vega Developers LLP, where the accused allegedly broke open the sheet-metal compound wall of the construction material storage area and fled with aluminium boards, sheeting, barricading sheets and other material.
Police said technical evidence gathered during the investigation led to the arrest of Anand, 21, a tractor driver, Anil, 26, an auto driver, Balaji, 19, also auto driver, Subhash, 23, a driver, and Yogesh Dandagule, 20, a labourer, on Monday.
During questioning, the accused allegedly confessed to the offence and disclosed their involvement in three other construction-material theft cases registered at Chandanagar and Gachibowli police stations.
