Fire Island glass house gets $1.255m price cut but still seeks record $3.995m

A striking glass house in Cherry Grove on New York’s Fire Island has attracted more than 350 viewers since it went on the market, but the attention has not yet resulted in a sale. The four-bedroom property, known as Crest House, was initially listed for $5.25 million in July 2026.The property has since undergone two major price reductions. According to Realtor, after first dropping to $4.85 million a few weeks after its launch, the asking price has now been cut to $3.995 million. That means the seller has reduced the price by a total of $1.255 million from the original listing.Even at the reduced price, the house would be far above the existing sales record in Cherry Grove if it sells close to its current asking price.
