Fire erupts at Vishwa Samudra Bio-Energy Plant in Nellore district

A fire broke out at the Vishwa Samudra Bio-Energy Pvt. Ltd. fuel factory in Sarvepalli village, Venkatachalam mandal, SPSR Nellore district, on Friday (September 11, 2026). According to sources, the fire was reported at a storage tank, which completely burned the oil inside.
Nellore District Fire Officer Srinivasa Reddy said that before the fire personnel could reach the plant, the workers used internal fire safety equipment to douse the flames. "The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained,” he added.
