TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A fire broke out at the Sade traditional tourism village in Rambitan Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia, on the night of Saturday, August 22, 2026.Rambitan Village Head Lalu Winakse stated that the fire at the Sade traditional houses began around 10:00 PM Central Indonesian Time (WITA). However, the cause of the fire remains unknown.According to Lalu Winakse, firefighters were working to extinguish the flames and evacuate residents living in the area. "We are currently evacuating residents affected by the fire," he said, as quoted by Antara.Ridwan Maruf, Head of the Central Lombok Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), stated that preliminary data indicated 120 houses had burned down.
