A fire broke out at Asian Hospital in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar around 2:45 a.m. According to officials, 58 patients, including nine newborns, were safely evacuated. The newborns were shifted to Ghati Hospital, MGM Hospital and Sanjeevani Hospital.
The incident reportedly occurred due to a short circuit in an AC unit in the NICU.
