Firefighting operations were launched after the Delhi Fire Services control room received the first call at 11.56 a.m.
Preliminary probe suggested that the fire broke out at a godown storing rexine. Firefighters are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
“Preliminary inquiry suggested that no one was inside the godown when the fire broke out,” officials said.
Residents of a nearby building were rescued as a precautionary measure. No casualties have been reported so far.
