Home Minister Priyank Kharge on Saturday said the State government will strengthen the Fire and Emergency Services and Disaster Response system to meet the growing demands of rapid industrialisation, urbanisation and technological development.
During his visit to the headquarters of the Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services (KSFES) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the Minister reviewed the department’s infrastructure, manpower, training, modernisation initiatives and future expansion plans.
Mr. Kharge directed officials to prepare a comprehensive long-term roadmap for the department, focusing on modern technology, infrastructure, human resources, training and emergency response capabilities in line with future requirements.
