Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has pledged to deliver an asphalt road linking Kiri and Shelleng, as well as a modern commercial market in Shelleng, as part of efforts to boost trade and economic activities in the area.
Governor Fintiri made the commitment when he received a delegation from the Shelleng Chiefdom, led by the Amna Shelleng, His Royal Highness Dr Abdullahi Isa Dasong II, on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Yola.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to equitable development across the state, stressing that every community deserves to benefit from government programmes, policies and infrastructure.
He also called on the people to continue to promote unity and peaceful coexistence, noting that development thrives where communities work together in an atmosphere of peace and mutual understanding.
