Finance Minister meets UK Minister of State for Trade, discusses bilateral trade and cooperation
Pakistan's Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with UK Minister of State for Trade Anas Sarwar in London to discuss strengthening bilateral trade. The officials focused on increasing the current $2.5 billion annual trade volume and exploring new opportunities in sectors like IT, fintech, and manufacturing.

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb , held a meeting with the UK's Minister of State for Trade, Anas Sarwar, at the Department for Business and Trade in London. High Commissioner of Pakistan to the UK, Tipu Usman, and Advisor to the Finance Minister, Khurram Schehzad, were also present during the meeting, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance here on Thursday. Both ministers expressed resolve to achieve tangible results in the upcoming Pakistan-UK Trade Dialogue Mechanism , to commence in December this year. Discussions were held on the current bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
