Filing of Form 7: Police file FIR against four persons in Mangaluru
Mangaluru police have registered a case against four individuals following a court order regarding the alleged filing of false objections to electoral rolls. The complainant claims these individuals attempted to improperly remove 68 names from the voter list.

Following orders of the 3rd JMFC Court, Mangaluru, the Mangaluru City Police’s Kavoor police station has registered a complaint by a woman against four persons for filing objection under Form 7 and seeking deletion of 68 names from the electoral roll.
In the complaint filed with the police on October 6, 27-year-old Anisha said she has was a resident of Moodushedde, under Moodbidri Assembly Constituency, and that she had been residing in her parents house in Moodushedde since four years when her husband shifted to Saudi Arabia for work. She had voted in Moodbidri Assembly Assembly Constituency in the 2023 Assembly election. Her name and that of her sister Ayesa Banu’s name were in the draft electoral roll in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision.
