The Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, disclosed this on Monday in Abuja at the official launch of the academy, saying the initiative was aimed at bridging Nigeria’s digital skills gap, improving employability and preparing young Nigerians for opportunities in the global digital economy.
Alausa said the programme, which is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and powered by the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), would provide beneficiaries with six months of free training through global learning platforms, including Coursera and Pluralsight.
