The Co-optex outlet in Pudukottai has been set a sales target of ₹50 lakh for the festive season this year.

Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development J. Mohamed Farvas inaugurated the annual discount sale at the outlet here on Friday. Collector M. Aruna was present.

The outlet recorded sales of ₹20.07 lakh during the festive season in 2025. As part of this year’s sale, Co-optex will offer a 30% discount on silk and cotton saris sourced from weavers in Coimbatore, Kancheepuram, Salem, Arani, and Tirubhuvanam. Dhotis, bed linen, towels, cotton shirts, curtains, and readymade garments will be available under the sale.

Co-optex is implementing a monthly savings scheme under which customers pay instalments for 11 months and can purchase products worth the maturity value at a 30% discount. One month’s instalment amount would be contributed by Co-optex.
