FC Barcelona Makes Impressive New Signing Ahead Of Sevilla

FC Barcelona has made a new signing in landing 16-year-old Dany Freire according to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano and SPORT, citing anonymous sources.

"Barcelona sign 16 year old talent Dany Freire, deal agreed and here we go!," tweeted Romano on Saturday morning.

"[The] Portuguese attacking midfielder has passed the trial and signs his Barcelona contract today. All set for formal steps," Romano added.

SPORT wrote that Freire was "about to experience one of the most special birthdays of his life".

"The Portuguese striker turns 16 this Saturday and he will do so with a very special gift: to officially become a new FC Barcelona player," SPORT explained, noting that Freire has convinced the coaches in La Masia with his performances forcing the club to incorporate him as a permanent part of the Juvenil B U-18 set up.
