The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has added India-born Manjit Singh Bedi to its most-wanted fraudsters list over his alleged role in a scheme that defrauded the US government of at least $600,000 in SNAP benefits between March 2024 and June 2025.According to the FBI, Bedi, a naturalised US citizen, operated Asian Grocery Store in Tacoma, Washington, where he allegedly used customers' Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards to process transactions without providing food.
