Two people who died on a notorious stretch of road in the Far North earlier this month have been named.
Police said they were David Ian Clark, 64, of Ahipara, and Jeremiah Jordan Nati, 30, of Auckland.
“Police extend our deepest condolences to their families during this incredibly difficult time.”
The pair died in a three-vehicle crash about 9.40am on Kaitāia-Awaroa Rd in Pukepoto on July 10.
Northland road policing manager Acting Inspector Ryan Gray said last week the Serious Crash Unit was still investigating the cause of the collision.
