Farmers’ association to organise awareness campaign to build dam at Rasimanal

Association general secretary P.R. Pandian said here on Tuesday that Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar was spreading a false notion that Tamil Nadu drain huge quantity of Cauvery water into Bay of Bengal. In order to counter this campaign, the Tamil Nadu government should revive the Rasimanal dam project for which the former Chief Minister K. Kamaraj had laid the foundation stone.
