Farmer tests positive for COVID-19 in Kuppam

A COVID-19 case has been reported in the Kuppam Assembly constituency. A farmer from Sogudupalle village in Shantipuram mandal testing positive 19 at the PES Medical College Hospital in Kuppam.
Chittoor district medical authorities confirmed that the farmer had tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials are making arrangements to shift him to the quarantine ward at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) in Tirupati for further treatment and monitoring.
Health officials have been directed to take necessary precautionary measures and monitor people who may have come into contact with the patient.
