The appeal has been spearheaded by her ardent admirer, Naveen Kumar, in whose farmhouse on Bogadi Road, on the city's outskirts, the celebrated singer had been living for the past few years. Though millions admired her across the country for her remarkable career spanning more than 20 languages, few knew that she had quietly made Mysuru her home, choosing to spend her twilight years amidst nature and away from the public eye.
