Fans loved me because of Balu and Amma’s songs: Srinath
Veteran Kannada actor Srinath paid tribute to the late legendary singer S. Janaki, reflecting on their long-standing professional collaboration. He expressed deep emotional connection to the songs she recorded with S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, noting their impact on his acting career.

“The love and warmth that fans have showered me with is because of the songs sung by Balu (S.P. Balasubrahmanyam) and Amma (S. Janaki). They made my acting effortless. The love and affection that Janaki Amma bestowed on all of us was immense and unforgettable,” an emotional veteran Kannada actor Srinath said.
Srinath, who starred in several Kannada films featuring some of Ms. Janaki’s most memorable songs, paid his last respects to the legendary singer at the Maharaja’s College grounds here on Sunday.
Recalling his association with the singer, he said, “Whenever I listen to songs from my films, I don’t remember my acting. Instead, I remember the soulful voices of Balu and Amma that gave life to those scenes.”
