Fann Wong and Christopher Lee are reuniting on the big screen after 17 years in the upcoming local 3D-styled animated feature film Library of Mystory.

Local production company Movitoir Studios announced on Sept 5 that they are producing the film, which is directed, written and self-funded by local author Chen Junhua from his 2016 book of the same name.

Library of Mystory is set in a vibrant fictional world inspired by the Tang dynasty and follows Prince Cheng Xi (Clement Yeo), a carefree young royal who prefers to spend his days on wrestling, archery, cuju (a Chinese ball game) and horse-riding than prepare for his royal responsibilities.

With his birthday approaching and an imperial tradition requiring him to announce his chosen bride, Cheng Xi's parents, the Emperor (Christopher) and Empress (Fann) enrol him at Tanglin Academy.
