Michelle Buckley, 54, says the situation left her family distraught and raised fears she was receiving medical care based on inaccurate information.
Werribee Mercy Hospital. Joe Armao Police said a 55-year-old woman was found dead in Tarneit on May 13 and was initially misidentified as a different 54-year-old woman.
“A notification was made to the Werribee woman’s family before she was found to be alive and well,” police said.
“The deceased woman has since been identified as a 55-year-old woman, and the death is not being treated as suspicious,” police said.
