Fall storm heading for N.L. expected to bring 100 km/h wind

Environment Canada issued special weather statements for parts of central and northeastern Newfoundland, with northwesterly winds gusting up to 110 km/h in the forecast for Saturday.
The statement says similar storms have caused disruptions to ferry services, minor property damage and scattered utility outages.
