NEW DELHI: AAP Tuesday alleged former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was arrested by ACB “at the behest of BJP” in another “fake case”. BJP dismissed the charges, saying Delhi govt’s Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) had established the money trail of the alleged embezzlement before arresting Jain and others.Jain, who is currently the co-in-charge of AAP in Punjab, which will likely go to polls early next year, and five others were arrested by ACB in connection with an alleged 2024 corruption case linked to Delhi Jal Board.“Everyone still remembers the ordeal they put him through by throwing him in jail. The previous case was fabricated too, and this case will also be proven to be fake. How long will BJP’s dictatorship continue like this? Whoever they feel like, they slap false charges on and toss them into jail.
