Fabregas explains Como selection as Nico Paz drops to the bench

Como coach Cesc Fabregas has explained his decision to bench Nico Paz for the match against Sassuolo following the player's standout performance against Manchester United. Fabregas emphasized the need for tactical flexibility and energy management during a busy schedule.
Why it matters
High-profile roster decisions in professional football often impact team performance and fan engagement, particularly when involving breakout stars.
Cesc Fabregas has explained his selection for Como's clash with Sassuolo, after leaving Nico Paz on the bench just days after his match-winning display against Manchester United.
With quotes via TuttoMercatoWeb , the Como coach spoke to DAZN before kick-off at the Sinigaglia. He made four changes from Wednesday's 4-1 Champions League win, handing first starts for the club to Samuele Ricci and Willy Kambwala.
Paz scored twice and set up another against United, with Roberto Martínez comparing his performance to Diego Maradona.
"I'm feeling good, I'm fired up and full of energy, and I think these are the games that test our season," Fabregas said. "When we beat Cremonese last season, I knew that was our test. After a special Champions League night, I have to be the first one to be positive. I see the lads the same way, so let's start the game with energy."
