Larson & Toubro (L&T), in association with Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital, conducted an eye screening camp for retired defence personnel at CGHS Polyclinic-I near the railway station in the city on Saturday.

The camp was sponsored by L&T under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. A total of 130 patients were screened by Dr. Sri Lakshmi, while 80 beneficiaries were prescribed and provided spectacles free of cost.

The camp was inaugurated by N.J. Murthy, HOD, Finance and Accounts, L&T, in the presence of Captain C.G. Raju, Officer In-charge, CGHS Polyclinic, and representatives of L&T and Sankar Foundation.
