Export awareness programme for MSMEs held
An export awareness programme was held in Karaikal for 90 MSMEs to provide guidance on international market entry. The event focused on the Importer Exporter Code (IEC) registration process.

Representatives of 90 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) attended an export awareness programme jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and Puducherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation Limited in Karaikal.
The programme was organised under the Centre’s Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance initiative. The event was aimed at strengthening export awareness and providing practical guidance to MSMEs to enter international markets. At the event, MSMEs were given assistance in IEC (Importer Experter Code) registration process, which is the first step towards export activity, a release here said.
