Several consecutive explosions were heard in Kyiv around 1 a.m. local time on Aug. 22, according to Kyiv Independent journalists on the ground. The explosions came just minutes after an air raid alert was issued.

A warehouse caught fire in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, local authorities reported . According to preliminary information, one person was killed and others were injured.
