Expired, mislabelled food products worth ₹1.38 crore and medicines worth ₹4.02 lakh seized in Bengaluru
Bengaluru authorities have seized expired food products and unlicensed medicines worth over ₹1.4 crore following raids on supply chain units linked to 'peptide parties.' The operation targeted units associated with Leo 7 Enterprises and Swiggy Instamart.

Officials of the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) department have seized expired and improperly labelled food products, including chocolates, biscuits, and dry fruits, worth ₹1.38 crore and also medicines worth ₹4.02 lakh that were procured without licences.
Addressing mediapersons on September 8 in Bengaluru, Minister for Health and Family Welfare U.T. Khader said, ”The inspection began when I received a message from a media representative about a peptide party happening at Koramangala in Bengaluru. While the party was cancelled , I instructed the officials to track and check the supply chain of items provided in this kind of party.
