Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to play a significant role in improving women’s healthcare by enabling earlier diagnosis, better clinical decision-making, greater surgical precision and wider access to specialist care, experts said at FEHMICON 2026, a two-day academic conference organised by FehmiCare Hospital in Hyderabad.
The conference, held on July 11 and 12, focused on the application of AI in obstetrics and gynaecology. It comprised a hands-on workshop at FehmiCare Hospital on the first day, followed by a national Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme.
Around 50 doctors received demonstrations on AI-powered applications that can be integrated into routine clinical practice. Sessions covered clinical documentation, patient communication, research, medical education, clinical decision support and workflow management.
