Hosted by the Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, the two-day Particle Therapy Cooperative Group – Asia Oceania 2026 (PTCOG-AO) conference brought together international faculty to present research on particle therapy, cutting-edge developments, and future directions in the field.
The conference was inaugurated by A.K. Balasubrahmanian, chairperson, Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), in the presence of Marco Durante, president, PTCOG and director, Biophysics Department, GSI Helmholtz Centre, Germany; Tatsuya Ohno, president, PTCOG-AO and medical director, Gunma University Heavy Ion Medical Center, Japan; Preetha Reddy, executive vice-chairperson, Apollo Hospitals; and Harshad Reddy, director, Group Oncology & International, Apollo Hospitals.
