Expeditious resolution to public issues is goal of Praja Seva Abhiyan: MLA

Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, MLA, said that Praja Seva Abhiyan had been organised to bring officials and public representatives together to listen to citizens’ grievances and resolve them as quickly as possible.

​Inaugurating the taluk-level Praja Seva Abhiyan at Arbol Kalyan Mantap in Shahapur on Saturday, he highlighted that the initiative carries forward the core spirit of the ‘Jana Samparka’ meetings launched during Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s tenure.

​”Citizens should not have to make repeated visits to government offices to get their problems solved. Officials must go directly to the people, hear their issues, and resolve them locally wherever possible. Matters requiring higher intervention will be escalated to the district-level or relevant departments in Bengaluru for swift action,” Mr. Darshanapur said.
