Expanding our partnership with GSA to bring Claude to all levels of government

Anthropic is expanding its partnership with the U.S. General Services Administration to offer government agencies a 40% discount on Claude AI products. The initiative aims to help public sector organizations modernize systems and solve complex problems with AI.
Why it matters
This represents a significant push for AI adoption within government infrastructure, potentially saving taxpayers money while modernizing legacy systems.
We are expanding our partnership with the General Services Administration (GSA) through a new agreement that gives government partners a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government, and the Claude API. For the first time, the discount applies across every product surface, including when agencies buy from us directly today and through cloud providers in the coming months. The discount also extends to state, local, tribal and territorial governments.
We are also launching a dedicated program to help agencies implement and make the most of their Claude use. These programs are commonly leveraged by our private sector customers and we’re looking forward to bringing those best practices to our public sector partners in the coming weeks.
