The increasing number of senior officials being pulled up by the High Court reflects the ‘executive and administrative failure’ of the Congress government for which Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy must be held accountable, said Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Monday.
Speaking to reporters at the party’s State office, Mr. Rao said the issue was not confined to HYDRAA (Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency), which has faced judicial scrutiny over what he described as ‘selective action’. He alleged that several other government departments were also facing criticism from the courts on various issues.
Mr. Rao claimed that HYDRAA’s actions, along with the Hyderabad Industrial Land Transformation (HILT) policy, had adversely affected development activity in the State. He alleged that the government had failed to provide solutions, including alternative land for industries classified as polluting, resulting in uncertainty among stakeholders.
