Prof. Carmelo Scarpignato is a clinical pharmacologist and gastroenterologist, teaching at different European Universities. His main scientific interests are pathophysiology and therapy of digestive diseases, microbiota-directed therapies, nutraceuticals, and GI-targeted medical devices.
