Everton XI vs Hull City - Predicted lineup and team news
Everton faces Hull City in an upcoming Premier League match amid ongoing uncertainty regarding the club's ownership and potential sale. Manager David Moyes reports no confirmed absentees as the team prepares for the away fixture.
Why it matters
The potential sale of a controlling interest in a historic football club impacts both the local community and the broader financial landscape of English football.
Everton travel to Hull City on Sunday in their first league match since the Friedkin Group announced it is exploring new investment in the club, including the potential sale of a controlling interest.
David Moyes's side are seventh and unbeaten after five league games. Moyes said he was surprised by the announcement, adding that he had sensed signs of it during the summer transfer window.
Everton have no confirmed absentees for the trip to Hull. Merlin Rohl and Christian Norgaard will be assessed before Moyes finalises his travelling party. Vitaliy Mykolenko is also being monitored, although Moyes has noted that the extra day of recovery could help him, and he is expected to start at left-back.
