Moderate rain lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Wednesday evening, after intermittent drizzle since the morning, leading to waterlogging and slow-moving traffic at several key junctions across the city.
The rainfall intensified during the evening hours, bringing moderate showers to areas including Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Nacharam, AS Rao Nagar, Yousufguda, Ameerpet, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills and the IT corridor areas like Madhapur and Gachibowli.
Waterlogging and traffic congestion were observed at several locations such as the Shaikpet flyover, Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, Kothaguda underpass, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Tarnaka and Mettuguda, slowing vehicular movement during the evening peak hours.
