Etango Mine Being Developed by 560 Personnel Across 4 Local Contractors
The Etango Uranium Mine in Namibia is progressing with over 560 personnel currently involved in construction and infrastructure development. The project is nearing a final investment decision and has achieved significant safety milestones.

There are more than 560 contractor workforces from four Namibian contractors currently developing earthworks, civil construction, aggregate production and infrastructure work for the Etango Uranium Mine.
This was revealed in the Bannerman Energy Quarterly report for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
The developer indicated that the Bannerman Mining Resources Namibia team and its contract partners achieved one million LTI-free hours on the Etango Project.
The project footprint is increasingly visible on site. eEngineering and infrastructure activities are advancing to plan, and a clear pathway towards transaction completion and the Final Investment Decision is expected soon.
The mine is set to produce an average of 3.5 million pounds (Mlbs) of uranium oxide (U308) over 15 years.
According to the developer, the bulk earthworks contract continues to advance in line with schedule and budget expectations and stands at approximately 92% completion.
