Establish eight model residential schools under AD welfare: Association

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Post Graduate Teachers’ Association (TNDAPGTA) have urged the State Government to establish eight model residential schools under the Adi Dravidar (AD) welfare.
In Tamil Nadu, there are 1,138 schools functioning under the AD welfare, which falls under the Social Justice Department, including 833 primary schools, 99 middle schools, 108 high schools, and 98 higher secondary schools. A total of 77,383 students: 30,729 in primary, 8,572 in middle, 10,487 in high and 27,595 students in higher secondary, are studying in these schools.
