Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Eshwar Khandre on Thursday released Gramodaya , a quarterly journal published by the Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University (MGRDPRU), Gadag.
The journal was released at the Minister’s office in Bengaluru in the presence of the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Suresh V. Nadagoudar.
According to a release issued by the university, Mr. Khandre appreciated the academic, research and extension activities undertaken by the university in the fields of rural development and Panchayat Raj. He said the university had an important role in disseminating research findings, knowledge and best practices in rural development to the wider public.
Gramodaya seeks to disseminate information and research-based insights on rural development, the Panchayat Raj system, local governance, rural empowerment and sustainable development.
