Developmental projects worth ₹2.35 crore at the Eravipuram railway station are scheduled for completion by January 2027, N.K. Premachandran, MP, has said after visiting the site to inspect the ongoing construction and holding discussions with railway officials and residents.
Addressing immediate civic concerns raised during the visit, officials were urged to take swift action to alleviate the commuting and pedestrian bottlenecks caused by the active construction work. The master plan for the station includes upgrading both platform 1 and platform 2 to a standard height of 84 cm, alongside extending their length on either side.
