The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Mangaluru Regional Office, has settled the social security benefits payable to the family of MRPL contract employee Manish Karkada, who succumbed to a fire in an MRPL unit on September 30.
In a press release, the regional office said it has settled the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance amounts payable to the family members. A monthly pension was sanctioned and it commenced from Thursday.
