Envoys of Japan, U.K. in Chennai call on Vijay

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay met with Japanese and British diplomats in Chennai to discuss bilateral relations. The meetings occurred ahead of the Chief Minister's upcoming official visit to the United Kingdom.

Takahashi Muneo, Consul-General, Consulate General of Japan in Chennai on Wednesday called on Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat. Mr. Muneo held discussions with the Chief Minister.

Later, British Deputy High Commissioner (in-charge), Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry, Sutapa Choudhury, and Kripa Ramachandran, Political Adviser at British High Commission in India, met the Chief Minister and held discussions with him.
