Describing Khammam district as a Congress stronghold, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka urged party cadres to work unitedly to ensure a landslide victory for party candidate Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy in the forthcoming Graduates’ MLC election.
Addressing a meeting organised by the District Congress Committee (DCC) in Khammam on Saturday, he said Mr. Sarvotham Reddy, the party’s candidate for the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal Graduates’ constituency, belonged to a family that worked with dedication and commitment for the Congress.
He urged the party cadres to take up the graduates’ voter registration drive as a movement and ensure that every eligible graduate was enrolled as a voter. He suggested holding meetings in all five Assembly constituencies in the district, followed by district-level, mandal and village levels, to accelerate the voter registration process.
Highlighting the Congress government’s welfare initiatives, Mr. Vikramarka urged party cadres to distribute pamphlets detailing the welfare schemes to every household.
