'Enough is enough': Patrick Clancy at center of 'destructive defamation campaign,' attorney says - WCVB

Attorneys for Patrick Clancy, the former husband of Lindsay Clancy, released a new statement Tuesday, after a mistrial was declared in the murder of their three children. "Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign," said Howard Cooper, an attorney at Todd & Weld, which is representing Patrick Clancy. "This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims." Cooper said the misinformation is threatening Patrick Clancy's "reputation, livelihood, and life."
