Embattled TV doctor Pieter Henning dies in car crash

Embattled TV doctor and radiologist Pieter Henning has died.
News24 understands that the Stellenbosch radiologist was killed in a vehicle accident in Potchefstroom late on Wednesday night. He was 42.
Photos of the scene showed Henning’s vehicle on its side near the intersection of Welgegund and Rissik Streets.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Kelebogile Morake said officers responded to the accident report and found a single vehicle that had “collided with a light pole and several trees”.
“The ... driver sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene,” Morake said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Henning was one of the founders of Keystone Radiology, which has branches across the country. It was renamed RadDx Radiology after Henning’s reputation took a hit.
