Eleven, including a couple, held in assault case in Bengaluru

Bengaluru police have arrested 11 individuals, including a married couple, for an attempted murder case stemming from a dispute over a cricket match. The suspects allegedly used weapons to attack the victims in two separate incidents.

The Bengaluru police have arrested 11 persons, including a couple, in connection with an alleged attempt to kill a man over an old enmity in southwest Bengaluru’s Subramanyapura.
The accused have been identified as Manikanta, 27; his wife, Keerthana, 21; Prem V.; Manoj G.; Krishnagupta; Akash, alias Mandya; Munna; Madhusudhan; Darshan S.; Sudeep M.N.; and Bharath M.G., all in their 20s.
The accused allegedly attempted to murder the complainant over an old enmity related to a cricket match played two months ago. They attacked two persons in separate incidents using daggers, long weapons, and iron rods.
The first incident occurred on September 20 at a vacant site in Uttarahalli. The complainant and his friends were standing there when around six to seven persons arrived on motorcycles and attacked the complainant and his friend with daggers.
