Elections Alberta moves up vote by mail deadline
Elections Alberta has moved the deadline for mail-in ballot applications to September 25 to accommodate a massive surge in requests for the upcoming October 19 referendum. Officials expect nearly 300,000 mail-in ballots, significantly higher than the 60,000 requested in the previous provincial election.
