ZAMBOANGA CITY- A senior female passenger was rescued after falling off a passenger boat that was traveling from Zamboanga City to Basilan Province on Friday, September 4.
Witnesses said the passenger, identified as 62-year-old Norhaida Penyon, initially inquired from a fellow passenger where the ship's comfort room was located. Minutes later, screams were heard from other passengers about a passenger falling overboard.
