There was success for League One and League Two sides against Premier League Under-21 opposition in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday.
Wycombe took charge of Southern Group C as they overcame a strong Chelsea Under-21 side 2-1 to make it four points from two games.
Mohamed Keita broke the deadlock for the Chairboys midway through the second half and Caolan Boyd-Munce added a second late on, before the Blues pulled one back in stoppage time through former Wigan man Harrison Bettoni with an assist from Kendry Paez - who appeared in this summer's World Cup knockout phase for Ecuador.
In their opening Northern Group D game, Chesterfield came out on top in an eight-goal thriller against Manchester City Under-21s.
